T Man meets Doyle Dykes

I had the pleasure this past weekend to meet probably the best country picker in the world. He learned from Chet and others. He played with Grandpa Jones, and knew and played with just about everyone Jerry Reed, Roy Clark and so many others as he was friends with all.

The man's name is Doyle Dykes and I have to tell you that this person is the nicest guy you'd ever meet. He presented worship in music and song at a very small church in a very small town in Minnesota. He was in the area after picking up his new Olson Guitar (the one I'm 'very carefully holding and fingering a G chord at the third fret).
